The eGolf Professional Tour, formally known as the Tarheel Tour, based in Charlotte, North Carolina was founded in 2002 with the player in mind. The Tour provides the games rising stars a place to compete while on the path to achieving the ultimate goal of playing on the PGA Tour. In 2009 the eGolf Professional Tour will be hosting 18 tournaments with $4.5 million awarded in prize money on Championship Courses for players from around the world.
